Postability Mill-Turn Planes Set-Up (for new posts) - 5-axis planes

The set up of the LMD post version is intended to simplify milling planes vs traditional mill-turn posts.

  1. The planes for milling are like a traditional mill in mastercam
    1. Set the part up standing up with the milling WCS XYZ axes all aligned with the machine's XYZ axes when the rotaries are at 0,0 For milling, any plane rotations from there will initiate a rotation at the machine
    2. For C-axis style operations, such as “C-axis Face Drill” mastercam needs the WCS X-axis as the turning axis much like traditional mcam lathe set-ups. You could use your “turning WCS” for these operations.
  1. To set up the axes for turning, you must set up a “Turning WCS” which will behave like traditional top plane turning
    1. The “Turning WCS” X-axis should be aligned with the turning axis (machine Z at rotation 0,0) and the “Turning WCS” Y-axis must be aligned with the turning tools radial approach, which is like the X-axis on a traditional lathe. The “Turning WCS” would be set up identically to normal lathe posts, with X as the turning axis, and Y as the tool approach (traditional X axis).
